Environment Friendly-Green Products
In today's market place, consumers are searching for ways to buy green products and help the environment.
At Horton Components, we are working hard on turning our waste in to a recycled product. Horton Composites is developing several new products by using our MDF dust
that would normally go to the land fill. With our state of the art production facility, we are able to mix several ingredients with our MDF dust to create
a highly durable product. Our new equipment will allow us to produce products for decks, fences among many others.
Also, Horton Components is carrying formaldehyde free MDF in several thicknesses. This will allow our customers to have additional options
when working their customers. The MDF is certified under the US Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). Along with the MDF, formaldehyde-free particle board will be an item available in the near future.
